The spatula is made from cherry wood and manufactured by the craftsmen of Miyajima Kougei in the Hiroshima Prefecture of Japan who have been producing wooden spatulas for hundreds of years. The spatulas are hand polished to a smooth finish and sit comfortably in the hand.
